Featured Project
1987 Camaro IROC ZR Concept
This high-performance concept reimagines the iconic IROC-Z Camaro with subtle yet impactful modifications. It was envisioned with an LT5 Corvette engine, a wider stance, integrated air vents on the front fenders, a power bulge on the hood, and a smoothed-out rear profile. The intent was to blend raw performance with aerodynamic refinement and visual aggression.

Porsche Slope Nose & 4-Door Concepts (1987)
Created with Symbolics and Quantel Paintbox during a pivotal moment in digital visualization, Robert Szymanski developed a slope-nose variant of the Porsche 911 with retractable headlights for improved aerodynamics. This concept extended into a four-door fastback version—a layout which directly inspired the Porsche Panamera decades later. Perhaps most daring of all was a pickup version of the Porsche 911, designed to rival performance trucks like the GMC Syclone.
Featured Project
GMC Syclone
Robert worked directly with GMC Truck Division on the original Syclone—a turbocharged AWD performance truck powered by a 4.3L V6. His visualizations contributed to early concept development and consumer testing. The Syclone became a benchmark in performance pickup history.
